Your real estate search is more than looking at the lists provided by all the various internet sites. Whether you are looking to find the perfect home or an investment property, the community that the property is located is an important factor. It is also very difficult to just read a lot of facts and statistics to truly understand a community. May I suggest, if it is possible, that you take the time to drive into, visit, and walk through the communities that may be of interest.
There are 70 communities which make up Bergen County. They range in size from larger urban cities with populations of over 42,000 to small towns with a population of just 2,500. There are multiple ethnic groups represented. Logistics to employment, schools, and social outlets will vary with each region.

Cresskill Cresskill is the essence of a suburban community. You will find quiet family neighborhoods with several parks to be enjoyed. Despite its small size, Cresskill’s school district ranks in the states top 25. Cresskill has its own high school which provides not only an excellent education, but a community spirit through the many club and team activities. |
